I rummaged through my "old" floor plans and found the following one. I’m attaching it in the original form; in the site plan, I mirrored the ground floor along the longitudinal axis. This would place the house entrance on the left side of the plan. Along with that, a carport with a storage extension.
What always bothers me about garages with an exterior width of just 6 meters directly on the house and at the property boundary is that bicycle storage, etc., is made maximally difficult when the garage is used by two cars. Therefore, I always find it good if the storage area can be accessed from both the street AND the garden.
About the floor plan:
- Kitchen storage under the stairs
- HAR just top left on the plan (in the mirrored version)
- Utility room basically in the upper floor in front of the bathroom
- Also space in the upper floor hallway for general storage. With the mirroring, one might decide to leave the hallway window on the east side.
- With a fence from "outdoor storage" to the house wall, one can also create a kind of cozy courtyard corner in the southwest.
Old original floor plan (as I said, already mirrored in the site plan, north arrow is correct except for a few degrees)
