The double garage would have been important to me, of course not at any cost. The alternative would only be a smaller garage. In the first floor plan, we would also have had to make do with a smaller garage (3.85 m).
The garages may only be built within the building envelope and in its extension. At first, we wanted to place the garage on the other side. However, if we were to place the garage on the other side, we would have to keep a distance of 1m from the property boundary. Therefore, this option is off the table.

The area marked in yellow is the street. Unfortunately, the garage issue is off the table (see above). We did not create the floor plan ourselves. Therefore, I have no influence on the furnishings.

The neighbor on the left next to us is also building an urban villa according to the overview. The garage is also located on the left side at the neighbor's. So there would be about 3m of open space between our garage and the neighbor's house.
