It concerns a semi-detached house on a yet unknown specific plot from a selection of five adjacent ones. Therefore, it is uncertain whether the OP is building on an "even or odd" plot and thus has the neighboring house adjacent in the NE or SW (floor plan in post #1, site plan for dummies in #39). The garage may possibly take away a window opportunity from the kitchen. Therefore, it was suggested to place the garage on the other side of the plan - and Yvonne now thinks: if that would result in the semi-detached house’s adjoining side referring only to the garage (meaning that for these two semi-detached houses it would practically create a terraced house constellation), then that doesn’t matter because that is also permissible. This opinion causes me to frown.

I don't think it would work - boundary construction is allowed, but if the garages just adjoin, I think it counts as a single-family house. According to that, I would have to keep a 3m distance to the neighbor and could only build a 5m house. Otherwise, my house would have to start at the property boundary. If that were possible, then property 530 would of course be the jackpot.

Yes, although I have to say that I did not understand Yvonne's explanations. But it doesn't matter, as the situation here is clear. I even suspect that the person who commissioned the division of the plot also had corresponding encumbrances registered, because otherwise, in the case of individual sale of the plots, it could happen that no one initially wants plot 530 or initially does not build on it, while plots 531 and 532 agree on building a semi-detached house, so that for plot 530 only the 5m would actually remain, which surely no one wants.

Yep. Replace single-family house with detached house, because single-family house means single-family house, and that can also be a semi-detached house

That means you suspect that the plots are clearly male or female on the right or left side due to attached encumbrances and that the builders do not even have a choice.

Yes. Anything else would be negligent, but possible.
