I mirrored your upper floor plan so that the children face the garden. Children's rooms are the same size as before. It works quite well, the only downside is the balcony. However, there would be space for a dryer and a clothesline in the laundry room.

oh that’s great!!!!!! I really like the parents' area (especially the bathroom, I think it’s awesome)!
Does the staircase work like that? I hadn’t considered it but I think it’s great, thanks so much for the input!!!

Right, I rotated the stairs. You want to make a storage room underneath anyway, right? So it wouldn't be a problem if the first step going up is now on the left.

I meant to "divide" the stairs upstairs. So the door between the stairs. There is an open space there, so can you just wall it up?

Sure. I wouldn't build for maintaining the electrical systems either. As long as the situation isn't there, I think that's nonsense. So much can happen and you need the space now for other things.
