It is still long ... ... but no space for a wardrobe in sight.

Dressing room and shower bath - does this work at the corner of the wall like this? I would swap the door position there (and possibly also rotate the bed position).

I think the idea of RomeoZwo is good. I will throw in another idea if the staircase is changed. That loosens up the long hallway downstairs, creates space for a wardrobe, and does not give away so much space to the hallway upstairs. I think the passage past the staircase can definitely be narrower; it also feels different because there are not two walls there, but the room opens up.

Thank you very much for this idea. We also wanted our bed to face north, and your proposed solution is really nice. We hope to get an updated plan tomorrow.

Your idea with the staircase is sensible. When designing the floor plans with Architect 3D, I used a similarly sized staircase. Unfortunately, this is a prefabricated house and we are heavily restricted in the size and design of the staircase. Considering this, the staircase we currently have is the best compromise.

Hello everyone,

The architect sent us the updated (attached below). The hallway on the ground floor was not changed much, as in the architect’s opinion, reducing the width compared to the front door will not look good.

I would like to have your views on a somewhat complicated topic. Given that some of you said the hallway will be too dark, I had the idea to have a skylight right next to the staircase (due to the 1.25m distance from the party wall). My idea is to ask the prefab house company to leave a hole in the floor of the attic so that the light from this window shines a bit onto the staircase and thus the hallway may not be so dark. Now the questions:

1. Is this reasonable?
2. How can I optimize the size and position of the hole in the attic floor for this skylight and this inserted staircase so that in the future, if I want to convert the attic, I can use this hole to install a staircase.

I am grateful for your answers to the above question and any feedback on the floor plan in general.

Thank you!

Why is there no discussion from your side, ? Several suggestions and changes have been made here. I can remember, for example, the kitchen on the terrace or the guest room in the basement. From you comes nothing except

This is not how it works here!
