One could place the staircase on the other side of the hallway. For this, the children's room door would have to be relocated. If the ground floor still resembles the one from the original thread linked by 11ant, the guest WC and utility room will get a mini hallway. However, the wardrobe then becomes questionable. Without a complete floor plan, it is difficult to discuss. The L-shaped staircase would have a very short leg at the stair landing. In other words, the curve cannot be made or only with great difficulty.
