So we have had the draft revised again and would like to ask for suggestions once more.
Some preliminary remarks on the draft:
Regarding the ground floor:
- We also swapped the kitchen and living room here. I am not sure if the storage space in the kitchen is now sufficient.
- The seating window should not remain in the kitchen as shown in the draft, but should move eastward between the living room and dining room.
- We swapped the guest WC and utility room.
- The utility room has become a bit larger, but the pantry has been eliminated. I am still bothered by the wall projection that this creates in the living room. I need to check again whether this was specified by the structural engineer.
- The staircase has moved to the other side.
- The wardrobe niche has become deeper. In addition, there is still space available due to the changed entrance area.
- The staircase will also serve as additional storage space for jackets and shoes with the help of a built-in closet.
- The fireplace will not be placed in this location.
Regarding the upper floor:
- The large hallway is what we want and will be implemented accordingly. Therefore, no further "criticisms" are required here.
- The staircase has moved to the other side, eliminating the strange small hallway by the office.
- We are still considering whether to give up the office and allocate the space to two children's rooms. However, then we would have no capacity for a possible third child.
