I have to say something about the window seat again: is it comfortable to sit in front of kitchen cabinets? You are not looking at the countertop, but at doors – I think the idea played a trick on you (like the 2-meter hallway…) Nobody will sit there…

No, not like that. But I believe the crucial question is, how high is the seat surface. In our case, it is at a normal seat height and when you sit there, you do not look sideways at the cabinets but straight down onto the countertop or mainly outside.

However, I would indeed take a closer look at the kitchen planning again. There are very good specialized forums for that. I'm not sure if it is allowed to mention them here...

The living room is to the west... However, I would also swap the kitchen and living room. You need a lot of light in the evening for preparing dinner, good daylight. I also see the terrace more on the west side.

We had a 2-story construction office. The similarity is astonishing. Of course without a bay window and floor-to-ceiling terrace windows. When I look at the view with the bay window, I stick to my opinion.
