One should keep in mind that floor-to-ceiling windows usually provide a room with less light than wide windows tilted about 90° with a sill height. And they also offer better space for furniture placement and more privacy.

A 2-meter wardrobe in the cloakroom area for a family of four is already the minimum ... seasonal jackets, shoes, etc. Therefore, what is the point of making the guest toilet only slightly larger.

Maybe I am the only one with this opinion, but I think the great idea with the garbage bins is very poorly implemented.

The garbage bins are placed at the back of the garage. Normally, you take out the garbage bins in the evening or early in the morning because the garbage is collected in the morning.
But at that time, the cars are always there. That means I cannot conveniently pull the garbage bins through the large garage or I have to remember to put the garbage bins out before driving in. Alternatively, I have to pull the bin through the garage door, through the garden around the house to the street.

Or am I making a mistake here and this is fully thought through?

Regarding the driveway and garbage bins, we have it in mind and plan it differently than mentioned in my previous post, thanks for the tips.

For the wardrobe, we plan it as it has worked for us so far, so we assume less than 2m. That is sufficient for us. Thanks however for this detailed point, as we find it.

I quickly and roughly sketched how we currently imagine the hedge (green), garbage bins (blue), and windows in the living area (red). For the windows, as mentioned, we want them floor-to-ceiling and about 2-2.5m wide. To the west, privacy protection through the hedge, and to the south is the garden.

It's especially counterproductive to put an expensive corner window there where you plan to place the sofa right in front of it. What is the "floor-to-ceiling" effect supposed to achieve there?

Sorry , I’ll take your quotes as a template since they contain more than the opening post you don’t have that many guests at once, so I don’t see the problem here I find the path super impractical... it should be the shortest of all paths ;) can be enough !! the bed niches in the RBM will definitely need plastering !! fits. fits as it is !! No, better not! You underestimate the cloakroom! you know: you can switch the whole floor/house… But 1. we don’t know your requirements, 2. we don’t know your property. We don’t know why the design is the way it is. Our tips can only lose! yes, that will be enough. enlarging west side: good idea Corner window  I’m out!
