There is still quite a bit that can and "must" be optimized here, and much has already been mentioned. The crux of the matter is, as always, the staircase!
[*]Front door opens onto the staircase [*]“Hose access” 1.33 m, even if only 4 m long [*]Only one access for living/dining/kitchen [*]Dining with 3.37 m rather cramped [*]Order of sleeping/dressing room [*]Dressing room without window [*]Children’s room: no space behind the doors for a closet. In one, not even space for a closet [*]Garage too narrow for the plan (car/garbage bins…) [*]Garage/driveway directly past the front door (way too close) [*]…
The question is, of course, how much you still want to “shake up”…

… you are right: the garage is not accessible at all if you build an entrance platform.

You still want to move the house 50 cm further south, then it will fit with the garage and the platform.

I would mirror the house on the ground floor so that you have the kitchen and dining area in the southwest. You don’t necessarily need west sun in the living room in front of the TV. Work and toilet move to the quieter and more "intimate" part of the property.

The stairs would move to the other side, which would be practical because then you could create an access through the dressing room in the upper floor. Make the child's room a bit smaller, then you can also fit a second row of wardrobes and put a window in the dressing room.

If washing/drying through the bathroom works for you, that's fine, you can't have everything.

I would arrange and enlarge the windows on the lower floor (and correspondingly on the upper floor, but I haven’t done that now) differently so that you can place the sofa with a view of the garden. For south sun in summer, there are external blinds; when the slats are fully open, no beam of south sun gets in. With us, that works wonderfully, always nice and cool in summer.

Idea for a bigger kitchen: put the tall cabinets directly under the stairs, then you get a room that is 60 cm wider there. Maybe even with a glass wall at the top, like in the picture. In the hallway, just close off the wall under the stairs and then you can have built-in wardrobes fitted from the hallway side. That way, the hallway shouldn’t look so narrow.

Sorry, I always appreciate your tips, but here I have to at least partially disagree.

But the 50 cm do not prevent the risk of accidents.

Accessing the washing machine through the bathroom is much more catastrophic in my opinion than the enclosed dressing room.

Yes, very chic. But that probably costs as much as simply enlarging the house by 50 cm.

What risk of accidents? Do you mean one cannot pass by the platform?

Children who blindly run out of the house (and they do) are hit by the car that is just parking.
