I wouldn't like the cupboard arrangement like that at all, since you have to pass through a 60 cm deep shaft twice. But the access to the bathroom is definitely better that way. You could, for example, place a dresser opposite the foot end of the bed.

My point was that with 60 cm deep walls, you walk both through the door to the bedroom extension and into the bathroom. With a door width of 90 cm, this is not nice and feels tight and oppressive.

Hmm, I see. That could be mitigated by using shelves/cabinets only about 140 high and less deep in the direction of the bedroom. It often fits better for lying clothes anyway. But first, the basic arrangement of the [TE] has to be liked ;-)

I think the change of the door position is great! Thanks, ibdk14! We could solve the problem with the dark changing area with a window at the bottom of the plan, although this is of course the north side and therefore less bright. With the two doors and the window, we would also lose closet space in the changing area. Oh... not so simple :( The living room will be under the entire sleeping area.
