Don’t omit the bedroom door; the light and noise disturb the sleeper. I would make the access door and the bathroom door out of printed glass doors, simply as an eye-catcher and occupancy indicator.

Why would you swap the utility room and children's bathroom?

So that the bathrooms are closer together, because of the supply and drainage pipes. It also depends on the ground floor, where the kitchen and guest toilet and existing pipes are.

One should not forget the main purpose of a bedroom, despite all the modernity and design. Good restful sleep even in summer, when it is light for 16 hours a day. Sure, a wall of windows in front of the bed is totally trendy. But you also have to ask yourself: What are you looking at? And who might be looking in?

You might only enjoy the great wide window at the foot of the bed for a few months... but you have to live with the (possibly existing) disadvantages for decades.

Attached are the additional floor plans.

Please be lenient with the representation of the attic. I tinkered with it myself in Word ;) the floor is intended for our eldest daughter so that she has her own space. We will build a shed roof with a knee wall of 2m on the north side. We are happy to receive feedback on this as well, because we are realizing that one does not always consider all aspects during planning…

Unfortunately, we do not have any plans for the basement since we will not be making any changes there and there are no old plans available.

Your desired bathroom in the bedroom is located directly above the living room... that means you will need a supply shaft. And whenever someone "flushes" upstairs, there will be a rushing noise in the living room next to the couch.

Rather inconvenient.

Place the bathrooms as directly above each other as possible. Anything else will only make it more expensive.
