Hello, yesterday I conveyed changes regarding the wardrobe and entrance area to the construction company again. By the middle of next week, we will receive a revised floor plan, which I would like to post here again for viewing.

Overall, the floor plan works well. I would remove the kitchen door and plan the kitchen differently - with an island or a peninsula. I would also change the direction of the stairs. Then you can integrate the wardrobe under the stairs. So, place the built-in closet right next to the front door. This results in much better use of space on the upper floor, which I have roughly indicated here.

I find it crazy how quickly you can professionally change a floor plan like that. Thank you very much. It looks completely different and much better. How exactly would you plan the kitchen? A kitchen island would definitely be nice, but the sink and electrical appliances should be fixed against the wall. We basically imagined an island as a half room divider, but exclusively as a work surface with drawers underneath..

A second sink and a waste solution in the island are great if you do a lot and use the surface for preparing and plating.
