In the south of Germany, specifically in Franconia, every brick house stands out from the crowd because it is unusual to build like that. Nevertheless, I would very much like to see the [Wurstbude] you described.

The catalogs of the big "prefab" and "solid" builders are full of that. The simply minded customers, for whom Heidelberg / Edeltrowd / Sowercrowd "Dschörmenie" symbolizes a reddish clinker facade as "Northern Germany," are apparently a relevant market. In the true North, such houses do exist, but rarely, primarily on the Halligen and islands, while the real mainland waterfront more often prefers white (not roughcast) plaster facades. The houses zoologically wrongly assigned there in the house catalogs are in reality more frequently found in Münsterland to OWL.

So honestly: in my inner atlas, everything north of the [Weisswurstäquator] is already the 'North German Plain'
