Floor plan of a bungalow on already used land

Which I still find very nice, although here I only wanted to recommend to the utility room-staircase-attic solution, and otherwise her bungalow will be smaller and therefore not very transferable overall.

I assume that after going up you just closed the door again so it is not in view, but what you see on the left is the enclosed ascent (which Karsten has similarly). Does this "stairwell" have a skylight? It looks so bright?

Yes.. especially because of the gain in height.. otherwise you would have bumped your head on the slope. Such "ideas/solutions" were found relatively spontaneously with our home construction company during the construction phase. The boss was always ready to find solutions.. that made building fun :)

Do you have a heated attic? And then an insulated roof? So far, only cold roofs have been offered to us.

I insulated the roof myself afterwards, which really makes a difference. It cost a good 1400,- and some work.
