Nice when some people really support each other here :) Nice gable, I always like something like that. About the design (entrance in the east, garden opening to the south) I don't find it that great and can also explain why. The private rooms are too prominent in the entrance area, the auxiliary room hides at the end of a long corridor, which also bends. The opposite is more sensible, especially with regard to possible later physical weaknesses: if someone is not so able or unwell, private rooms “further back” would be better placed so that the more active person can still receive visitors. An alternative, which also has drawbacks but is expandable, serves as a demonstration: the Perfect 95 mirrored and adjusted with stairs. Or simply enter a narrower bungalow floor plan. In principle, very much is feasible and modifiable. The stairs reach the area above the bedrooms and have the storage room, open to the south above the living room as an air space.

Unfortunately, it doesn't work the other way around. To the north are already the driveway and the garages, to the south the finished garden. That means I definitely want the utility room facing the garages; it has an additional door in that direction so that later a covered walkway from the garage to the house can be built and you can get from the car to the house without getting wet. And I definitely want the living area facing south. Not only because of the garden but to get as much sun and light into the living area as possible. We had already looked at the Perfect 95 and the similar Perfect 101, but we don't like the concept at all. I don't want to have to walk basically through the living room to get to the other rooms.

Do you also have a picture of the gallery? How do you get up there? Via the stairs in the bedroom?
I think the idea is great, but it is probably quite complex and expensive?

Thank you very much for your offer to visit. I will get back to you about it in January.

View from the orange couch to the kitchen and gallery /play/reading corner once with ladder folded out and once folded in. When the 12-year-old is there, she only sits up there, and the 3-year-olds are still being held back.
