I said orient, not copy. At Karsten's it is a bungalow for a couple of comparable age, and otherwise I was primarily concerned with individual details as mentioned. One does not need to adopt the garage for the workbench, the appene corner, the garden landscaping or the stove when absorbing the inspirations.

I just got a somewhat odd idea to base myself on the bungalow of and to place a staircase to the attic not in the hallway as there, but like in the utility room; drain and secondary shower in the utility room, then hang the combo upstairs ... (?)

After almost three point five years in the bungalow, I say. Best idea ever with the stairs to the attic instead of a chicken ladder. How often do I use that up there! Not just for storage instead of a basement. I have set up the model railway up there for the grandkids' enjoyment. I have my Airex and my dumbbells and the Petzi ball up there. For Pilates exercises. Upstairs is the room where I store paint and such in winter, frost-free. So, the stairs up there are worth their weight in gold.
