Alone in the living room, I would plan a horizontal window of 3m by the couch, believe me, it definitely looks great when you sit on the couch. But well, I won't force anyone here, but I speak from experience, unfortunately I also have 2 "vertical" ones with 0.88m in the couch area and am thinking about enlarging one of the two. And I would do the same in the children's room and enlarge it if I were you.

You don’t have 2.8 sqm windows, that is the light opening size. Depending on the profile, you have to subtract 12-15 cm around the window surfaces.
