Off Topic The pantry is a hype that arose from the fancy Pinterest pictures of meal prepping and storage in stylish jars. A shelf in country house style, with fancy jars in it. It has less to do with canning and storage. But those who then have (got) the pantry, tend to maintain it and hoard groceries in a storage closet that would actually fit in a kitchen cabinet. However, of course you can also put a second freezer in there or unsightly appliances and items you don't use often. Ultimately, it is and remains a storage room that needs to be cleaned and sorted again from time to time. What is now emerging is a kitchen design that looks good only for show and where you can mix a drink. The functional kitchen disappears as a back kitchen in a separate room, even though you actually wanted an open kitchen.

Yes, that is certainly true, although that is the case with almost all new things. With lift-and-slide doors, huge bathrooms, large garages, separate dressing rooms, children's bathrooms, etc., hardly anyone has ever lived with those before either, but still many people want them in their new home, at least some of those things.

You really have to build up quite a lot. The property doesn’t look that sloped in reality at all. We will definitely address this in the conversation next week.

Regarding SK, mainly it’s about having enough storage space. Whether it’s called storage room, in the HAR or utility room, or indeed SK, doesn’t matter. Actually, we currently even have an SK.

That is really deceptive; here with us everything looked flat on the green meadow and in the end we built a platform with 2 steps at the entrance and also needed a wall with 80cm at the back leading to the terrace, or arranged the terrain with a slope. I would take a closer look at that so that the costs don't overwhelm you afterwards, because your property isn't small. Therefore, you should now also roughly examine how the outdoor area could look with the finished planned house on the terrain or how you can deal with it sensibly. The architect must also include this in his planning.

You can also create a tiered garden, by the way. I recently spoke with a gardener who was working here on the green strip... he said this trend to level everything out as much as possible by piling up, removing, catching, etc. is quite new, but not good.
