Hi,

I read more than I write, and it’s not the first time I’ve noticed that there are really great supports with truly valuable tips here in the forum.
Where else do you get free planning aids for the floor plan with ideas and suggestions (e.g., from kaho674, 11ant, and of course everyone else).

Since we just optimized a floor plan for free and other possibilities are shown.

Although it doesn’t really fit here in the thread, I think this one is a good example of that.
I can imagine that as a builder, this might not be so obvious, especially at the beginning of a construction project.
Especially because everyone on the construction site first wants to make a proper profit.

Therefore, a good piece of advice to the thread creator: definitely think critically about what is recommended – that really helps you move forward.

Well – I just wanted to mention that.
In this sense – keep it up.

Best regards

... at least raises hope to still coax something out of the difference to the dimensions possible here.

I rarely provide drawn hints, the best come here from kbt09.

Good evening everyone,

again, a big thank you to all. I am happy to take your comments/ideas.

Floor plans: Thank you very much for your feedback and the floor plans. The double door to the living room can certainly be moved. I believe we still need to play around a bit with the stairs in the planning. These were taken from the initial draft. I will bring the ideas and floor plans to the next meeting.

We will also address the T-bathroom.

Children planning: That is the difficult question. We currently have two children and that is fine. But how it will look in five years I cannot say. It would simply be nice to still have an option through the office/hobby room/reduction of the living room and not have everything already fixed now. This point is also not quite easy for my wife. Just imagine the question: What if there are twins again?

Later extension: What is your opinion on this? A house can also grow later. This is very common with existing properties. Or is this simply no longer done today (exterior walls too massive)?

Finger: Was in our close selection, unfortunately not in our budget.

I am attaching the floor plan with which we became aware of the "manufacturer".

This floor plan is very similar to Finger. In both floor plans the kitchen was too small for us and the shower on the ground floor made it too tight in our plan. Thus, the current draft was created by the planner and us in a short conversation.

Walk-in closet: I have recreated/drawn the walk-in closet at home and measured our wardrobe. I need about 1.50 m of wardrobe, my wife also 1.50 m. Additionally, there is 1 m for miscellaneous. This should also fit in the planned walk-in closet. A comparison with other floor plans also does not show me more space here, sometimes even with a sloping roof (which might not be obvious at first glance on the floor plan). Of course, it is then not a ballroom, but I do think it is possible. A wardrobe in the bedroom also does not always bring more "free space". Possibly the partition wall to the bedroom can also be made narrower in drywall/thinner stone, which would gain a few centimeters. The walk-in closet will be discussed again at the next appointment.

Thanks again and have a nice evening.

Rainer

... in the dressing room in your design, it is not so much the length of the wardrobe to be criticized, but rather the distance between the rows of wardrobes, which looks to be no more than about 65 cm.

And has already shown several examples where 3 to 4 meters of wardrobe can be made more accessible.

I would do without a dressing room. It needs space to be practical. Even we don't have one - although we built much larger. Instead, we have a wonderfully large bedroom with enough space for furniture. An alternative would be two small rooms.
