can't you do without: sofa distance from TV wall less than 4m, open living-dining area

There is a sloping roof above and it does not allow that! Also, a staircase like the one at would probably not be possible with an eaves height of max 4.20. So only a straight staircase remains, which has to be removed from the outer wall. The mainstream option probably doesn’t come into question either because the house is too narrow, most don’t want the conservative staircase position at the entrance, and it also makes the area too narrow.

One could take such a staircase. That should possibly work with the eaves height. (The staircase is not available in my program, you have to imagine it in the upper floor. However, it is too narrow for a proper sofa area, no matter how you turn the sofa. Somehow it doesn’t work.

So I find the idea very good as an alternative with this stair shape and then either:

- keep the "sofa area" where it is and place the TV on the left side in the "TV corner" next to the utility room

- swap sofa / TV area with kitchen, resulting in a U-shaped kitchen with 3 usable walls and the TV/sofa area at the entrance of the living-dining area
