Currently, I like this draft the best. Only the note and the thought about "walking through the living room" or the TV area worries me a bit; I still need to think about that.

A technical room with 7.5m²-8m² should be realistic according to my research, or have you had different experience?

The staircase is drawn with a width of 1m, is that too narrow?

Such a staircase is supposed to represent this as well; unfortunately, the correct representation does not exist in the program. The furniture dimensions are realistic and depict our furniture quite accurately (sofa 3.15m wide, table 2m x 1m, TV bench 2m wide), only the kitchen is drawn "just like that." In a living-dining area of almost 50m², I think it should still feel airy enough.

I am a bit skeptical about the technology under the stairs. It is not made of air or anything. That looks very tight to me. What is supposed to go in there? It’s best if you also furnish it.

I suppose house connections, indoor unit of the heat pump, fuse box, possibly photovoltaic system inverter? in case that is not allowed in the storage at the garage, and washing machine, dryer.

I still have to cleverly draw that in somehow.

You are the first one to say that you can do without storage space. That can only be explained by the fact that you do nothing at home, not even changing batteries.

What kind of research? What are you researching there? Quite a few devices had to be removed again because they were mounted too close to the wall, so you can’t reach them later with tools.
And you do want to be able to move around in the room when you wash clothes or take out the ironing board.
By the way, I refer to this:

Is this forum here to help and exchange ideas, or to declare that people do nothing at home?

As a cellar replacement, the storage room behind the garage has been planned; it is 2 sqm larger than our current cellar. Of course, that's not a huge difference, but – drumroll – cordless screwdrivers, drills, etc. (Bosch and Festool case systems say hello) have very good space.

Moreover, this sentence was meant to say that the planned crawl space in the upper floor is not indispensable.

I don't know if it is still possible to add an attic in the upper story with the current planning; that might be an alternative.

And what kind of research does one do on the subject of a technical room → for example by asking Google how large a technical room for a single-family house with a heat pump should be, and then looking at a few different manufacturer websites. But I have also already taken from this that I need to look at this topic more closely again.

Thanks also for linking the other article.

Note that in this storage room, unlike the cellar, you cannot store anything sensitive to frost. So paint, silicone, adhesive tapes, batteries, flower bulbs… must be brought into the house in winter (and not to the attic).
