Yes, I thought the same when I saw the one plan with a few recognizable measurements.
Crazy long driveway. You could move everything much further south and create a nice terrace in the garden, farther away from the house, which would then get full southern sun. Then you would only need a small path, not a driveway for a car.
There are building boundaries in the development plan that require us to build fairly centrally. At least 8m distance to the north and at least 18m to the south. Currently, we are planning about 10m to the north and 20m to the south.
We could build the carport directly on the street in the south. But then we would always have to walk with kids and all from the carport to the house. And in the southeast, we would always be looking at the carport. We have already thought that through mentally, but for now it is the second choice.
Yes, at first. But in post #25 the better solution.
Do you want to stick to the straight staircase?
Ah. Ok. Now I have seen it too. I like the idea better as well. But I don’t know how the heights will work... I will definitely discuss this with the architect. Visually, we really like the straight staircase. Let’s see what the architect says about the concerns and whether he can continue to convince us with his concept.
You are not saying anything about the development plan?
Do you mean because of the long driveway? The development plan is fine for us. We knew it before we bought the plot.
Or do you mean further details? I mentioned some when I created the thread.
