Now I understand why the architect plans such high steps. 19.2 cm is too high for me. The ceiling too thin. 307 cm - 280 cm is 27 cm The concrete ceiling is at least 20 cm in my opinion, then you still have 7 cm for screed and insulation?

On average, ceilings are drawn at 0.40 m and room height at 2.67 m. That can work better. One more step is more comfortable in my opinion 17*18 cm is 3.06 m floor height. If YOU want 2.8 m, then you should have one more step (18).

Then I give right that this will be a mortgage. 52 cm longer the stairs.

The length of the staircase was also my first thought and whether the OP had really thought it through. 2.80m in such a rather small house can quickly feel uncomfortable or odd, especially in the small rooms.

Not least, this step height will also mean moving his bedroom to the study two to three (or even more?) years earlier (if one belongs to this group at all).

What then made you decide to choose a straight staircase? I find straight staircases beautiful, but in my opinion, they need a house with space.

I moved the stairs up by 40 cm. This makes the kitchen and the office a bit larger.

I also extended the stairs by one step. On the upper floor, the children's rooms will also be a bit larger.

It should be checked whether the stairs to the attic obstruct the headroom of the stairs to the upper floor. In my opinion, it looks very awkward like this.

Maybe it can be planned with a pull-out ladder?

The staircase to the attic could actually obstruct the headroom of the staircase below it. It is indeed much steeper, but due to the different staircase layout, there could be a collision. This really needs to be planned precisely. A proper staircase would be better going up there.

.. in the ground floor hallway you somehow don’t see the shifted staircase or is it an illusion? Ah, now I see it, you kept the hallway exactly the same width and took the 40 cm depth from the rooms on the top floor of the plan on the ground floor. And in the upper floor the same .. Hmm.
