You can clearly see that "average equipment" means something different to everyone. (not meant negatively).

For one person, a ventilation system in the house, an air-to-water heat pump, photovoltaics, electric aluminum blinds, underfloor heating, a fireplace, and KFW55 standard are just barely acceptable, while others save high five-figure amounts just by that.

For example, we ordered the windows in Poland and saved a small five-figure sum. From how you describe your equipment, I think the budget is definitely doable. Going all out just isn't possible.

Phew, I find this life plan absolutely terrible.
It would be a nightmare for me to enter my home through the dirty laundry. You're already smelling bad when you come home from work. And what exactly is different about the dirt lock compared to the main entrance? Is the dirt allowed to stay there? Or is there a Kärcher installed right away?
Besides, the additional risk of burglary. Nah, that wouldn't be for me.

Many people also order their windows in Poland here. It is really true that demands are increasing more and more... We are building small and standard. It has to be affordable and we want to live in our house, not live for our house.

Do you happen to be from Schleswig-Holstein? I know this floor plan with differently positioned guest WC and living room wall at a 90-degree angle from two houses in my circle of acquaintances and think they are great. Upstairs it is exactly the same. But I don’t see 230K as possible there...

PS: don’t let yourself be too unsettled by the entrenched opinions of long-established people here. Some, for example, don’t get that up here in Northern Germany the door in the utility room is by far the most used entrance. Don’t try to convince them that it is like that. It doesn’t fit their worldview
