Glare also occurs with windows with a normal sill height, and a glare protection in the style of a Japanese screen does not necessarily have to be built as tall as a person and standing on the floor. And the combination of a normal sill height and a floor-standing Japanese screen would also be possible, as long as no window niche radiator is planned.

We are planning a west-south terrace (around the corner), so a kitchen in the west could also have terrace access.

Yes, preferably we would have a staircase outside the "dirty area." However, we will have to make one or the other compromise. If an L-shaped staircase in the "dirty area" saves significantly more space, we are also open to this option.

Hello Katja, a bay window could appeal to me. Do you sometimes have exterior views of your design? I assume south is at the top for you?

How would you arrange the carport and driveway on the property? In principle, an arrangement more to the west (also as a privacy screen) or to the east is possible. Currently, we are leaning towards an eastern arrangement, possibly somewhat in front of the house. What do you think?

East! In the NW the sun sets in summer and then exactly there in the NW a terrace could be placed. Seen from above, however, the western one appears cozier, as a kind of courtyard is created. But that can also be shaped with plants.

You shouldn't expect too much from the views. It is a simple and very old program that cannot display everything.
The style should go in this direction:

Although I find the window in the bay a bit small in the photo. But the corner windows and doors are intended to be similar.

Yes, I’m also in favor of east. But the property is pretty tight. 20m - 6m carport - 9m house width = 5m to the fence. Not sure if a terrace is worth it there or if it’s better to only have one on the south side?
