"Revised" is diplomatically phrased. I would rather call it a turnaround.

That was a wise decision. It also seems to me to be a successful translation.

The bathroom layout does not look successful yet. Possibly an additional eight centimeters of width could still be gained for each children's room.

Hmm ... successful translation?

I found the previous approach as a basis much more suitable. Now:

    [*]long dark hallway
[*]bedroom, living room, utility room, guest bathroom ... all rooms where in my opinion useless sqm are wasted, as they are not usable
[*]kitchen accessible from all directions only via long routes and at least 2 doors each time
[*]mini dining table squeezed into the corner
[*]parents' bed in front of the window with low sill height

So I can take away the gloom of the dark hallway for you. When you have glass windows in the living room doors, it is nice and bright. The hallway looks longer on the plan than it actually is. I might possibly move the bedroom door a bit more into the hallway. Then remove the window on the right and put the closet there. Then you can place the bed on the other side. The extended entrance then gives you a second more to throw the blanket over your head if you happen to forget the key in the heat of the moment.

I agree with , that is, Kerstin: I like the approach in the original - the draft from Evolith? is just as much in need of revision in this case

As a layperson, I unfortunately don't understand how this can be implemented. I will pass it on like this.

I must confess to my shame that I also don't understand the other comments. Why are bedroom, living room, etc. useless square meters, as they cannot be used?

On the one hand, one wants to avoid a long corridor, but on the other hand, you then have to go through 2 doors to get to the kitchen.

I also found the parents' bed in front of the window strange. I think it was done so that it looks more harmonious from the outside. I will also address that.

We will then move the bedroom door further into the hallway.

Oh nonsense, even laymen usually wash themselves daily. You simply can't have no idea of a bathroom. Here, when you open the door, you look directly into the tub; even the person peeing has a privacy screen only against the view of the one brushing their teeth, not against the bathroom user. That it should be arranged more cleverly is also obvious to laymen.

Your bed, your window. It doesn't belong there if you don't want it there.

Just as a spontaneous counterproposal: enter the bedroom from the living room; bathroom from the bedroom and then a shorter children's corridor – extend the bathroom to the living room and make it narrower – widen the children's room.
