oh and one more remark - you are planning at least one child - nowadays most people have the baby in the bedroom for the first year. This significantly reduces the risk of sudden infant death and makes night feeding and changing easier. However, this requires a bit more space than currently planned.
And usually the bed also gets wider when children live in the house. 180 cm for three is torture. ;)

There is a very simple explanation for the gable roof ... I find the hip roof absolutely ugly *oops* ... I can't come to terms with this appearance and would become terribly unhappy ... :( ...

I would actually like to present my original plan for the room layout here, but it does not include any interior walls, nor windows or doors ...
