Yes, you have to be able to furnish it. I also never claimed that the floor plan is good. On the contrary, I did not even appreciate it. For me, it was solely about the dogma gallery = bad or only feasible from 250 sqm onwards. It is and remains a matter of taste. One person wants a large bedroom + master bathroom + dressing room, another a gallery. I agree with you, it should be furnishable. But I hope we don't have to have a fundamental discussion.

@ TE:
Here is a floor plan from a well-known Hamburg architect. Maybe it will help for inspiration.
EDIT: The technology is in the basement here.

If the thread should be closed, of course I have nothing against it.

Much has already been said! What I don't understand is why the OP doesn't want to work on the floor plan with the forum. But well, each to their own.

Under 3 conditions, I would consider such a large gallery reasonable.

1. The house would be built larger
2. The bay window would disappear
3. The entire south side would be glazed as a post-and-beam facade from floor to roof

Point 3 would be the sole reason why I would want such a "mega" gallery.

Then I would indeed have a beautiful catalog house that would put a smile on my face every day because of the view, but unfortunately nothing practical for everyday life.

Apparently, the OP doesn't have a TV because there is no wall for it. :-p

I already wish the children lots of fun and good antidepressants. For that, they are rewarded with a 50sqm gallery, you have to set priorities. In my opinion, the bay window also belongs to a lift-and-slide door in full width.

The floor plan was definitely self-drawn. No architect would commit such a crime..or would they

Should it be about the floor plan I posted. The house was built for clients in Hamburg/Blankenese and has won several awards. I don't know if a link would violate the forum rules, but with the keywords it can also be found on Google.

If it actually refers to the posted floor plan, then the following conclusion:
1. Tastes can be so different
2. "Crime".. I feel like I'm in the green forum.

Award means nothing. Our neighboring house is also awarded multiple times.
Arrow slits instead of windows
Leaky roof
Mini chambers
But visually really something different
South the floor plan you showed is worlds better than the one from the OP
