you see, air spaces or galleries are not appreciated here.
I was only concerned about the dogma gallery = bad or only feasible from 250 sqm.
That is not true. I have also criticized air space, but I have one myself.
First plan the necessary rooms, then the nice-to-haves!
And yes, it is very echoey. I already knew that from my parents' house, but we have no children living with us, so we adults automatically consider each other.
In a family of four, you are certainly more likely to have contrasts in the daily rhythm.
I would gladly continue to work on this new design in the forum as soon as I receive it.
We look forward to hearing from you. Hardly anyone here has been left hanging if there is something to discuss.
Maybe as a replacement there is a small annex that is open upward to the roof and thus brings the desired feeling of air space. I just really like it when rooms are open upward to the roof slope.
You can open the rooms under the roof upward. The extra cost is not too high.
Brewing system, fishing equipment, woodworking shop and maybe soon a game chamber...
You are planning 2 children's rooms and building on a plot over 1000 sqm.
I can well imagine that you will not come to one or more hobbies anymore. Quite a few hours a week already go into the garden and such. The children anyway. Just as a thought.
In your place, I would plan a nice wooden annex or garden shed. Also start saving money for it now.
All cellar offers apply to a bare, unfinished cellar without stairs and without tiles.
I have an offer for a log house with 160 sqm for around €270,000 (including electricity, heating). Here, €130,000 would remain for incidental construction costs and cellar if I assume a budget of €400,000.
Which level of completion?
Also sanitary fixtures? Toilet and shower?
You would still have to plan 20–40 for equipment, e.g., controlled residential ventilation, sockets, and also floor coverings.
Yes, and then the cellar (finishing).
