Good morning,

Thank you

We are totally flexible since everything is being newly purchased, so the dining table, the sofa, and the TV.

But what bothers us about the option is that the fireplace outlet is in the way of the TV and the leg sticks out like that from the hallway.

If we take the long leg on the left, the fireplace outlet is even more in the way.
And I roughly calculated the distance and find it too short.

Long leg left? The long leg stays on the slanted wall, the short leg on the other side.

And then check which TV sizes are suitable. After

for example, for a 42" TV the distance would be about 2.24 m.

Good morning

We are currently leaning towards a 65-inch TV, which would be due to the large distance on the balcony side.

I meant the short leg on the side of the window. Do you know what I mean? Because in the above sketch it bothers me that from the hallway you can see part of the living area/sofa. But what bothers me the most is the fireplace outlet, which is in the way ;/ and that definitely cannot be removed

Therefore, place the short leg on the other side. And keep the long leg on the slanted wall. TV on a wall mount, which can then be easily pulled forward and slightly rotated.

If you can see the TV from the hallway, but no seating in front of it, doesn't that look strange (?) What do you actually mean by the "Kaminauslaß"? - so far I have only perceived one (probably two-flue) chimney.

That’s exactly what I mean, that you can already see the TV and part of the sofa from the hallway.

By fireplace outlet I probably mean the chimney (you seem to know your stuff) ;-) It is 69cm wide and 43 deep, we also cannot remove it because the family upstairs uses the fireplace. Whether we can even use it, meaning whether it is double-flue or triple-flue (or whatever conditions need to be met) we still have to find out.

As I said, the proposal (thanks again ) bothers me right away because of the view from the hallway. Furthermore, the dining area is given a huge space, which we do not need (there are 2 of us). I think I prefer to have a large sofa area. I will quietly sketch it again tonight ;-) Cheers
