Only, every suggested sofa area has so far had only disadvantages. Either the TV wall is too far away or somehow in the area of the balcony access. With Yvonne's last sketch, my immediate thought was "this is it." With the other sketches, I always had the feeling "no, not quite right." Especially since you can also look at the sofa from the entrance and so on.

In Yvonne's version, you can also, for example, simply choose a 2.5-3 seater and a great armchair to go with it .. which can stand further to the right but is much more flexible than a sofa.

Hihi, that also looks more casual from the hallway :-)

No, not really, or rather precisely because a piece of the sofa can be seen there, it makes the person standing in the hallway curious for more.
They see that it continues there, that there is another zoning. -> creates anticipation for the end of the workday ;)
You always perceive a room in 3D, so you should plan _with_ the room. It goes without saying that no static symmetry is required here. But a bit of dynamism through a low cushion that stretches backward makes a room interesting.
Interior designers consciously stage such a cushion, whether with pillows or a blanket. Even a wooden tray could be decorated there.
If you want to avoid decorative stuff, you should at least see the room within the room (not the office, but the chill lounge) as an advantage.

When I photograph or arrange, I pull a chair or seating pod forward extra so it looks more appealing.

I don't see the shaft itself as a problem either. Between this and the exterior wall (west), you can install light wooden shelves at equal intervals that hold books or decorations.
I wouldn't give more than a floor lamp to the entire seating area in front of the window :)

Exactly. At least one little corner should peek out of the sofa, otherwise it looks like a "TV with nothing in front of it" when viewed from the hallway.

Hello,

of course, these are all good arguments and by now I see it that way too.
What still bothers me, however, is the position of the TV to the left of the chimney and whether the sofa area does not become too "tight" and, in contrast, the dining area is given such a large space?!
The office area also becomes smaller again.
The question lately is which area is given higher priority.

Another approach would be this one:
To place the sofa roughly just past the middle of the balcony door, so the passage to the balcony remains free.
In the back area (that is, to the right of the balcony), one could work with an armchair, rug, sideboard

No matter how you twist and turn it: when the dining area is filled, meaning the chairs are occupied, no one can move properly in your favored niches. Then in everyday life, the table is pushed against the wall and two people can sit side by side ;) Okay, exaggerated... but I would reconsider whether you still like to use the dining table as such. Enter the room in homebyme: it’s quite quick and you can do a bit of 3D and see the effect.
