Thank you

Realizing a quarter of the room on the right as an office is difficult because the balcony door (sliding door) is relatively large and to the left of it there is only about 1 m and to the right 1.70 m.

I am still open to ideas ;-) I would be interested to know how you have designed your houses/apartments. Is your living room facing south?

Best regards

May I ask how long the time period is planned to be until your house is built, which you mentioned?

Hello The plan is to build the house in about 5 to 10 years. It always depends on how quickly you find the right property or plot and how the professional career (in my case) develops. Are you asking with regard to the "small" children's room? Best regards

You still want to buy, right? If everything is somehow annoying or a tedious compromise, why don't you look for another apartment?

That's right. I always question the proportionality of the effort, even personally and every day at work.

You already have the office option in the office anyway, at least you have firmly planned it.
But a children's room might be needed.
Are you already pregnant?

I see the problem of the dismantling or the depreciation of the apartment. It's not like a partitioned room is equivalent to a proper room. Noise, insulation, heating won't keep up.
It might be okay for you, but whether a child should sleep right next to the evening noise behind a thin cardboard wall (it won't be more than that) is something to consider. At least it is not a permanent condition.
For a future tenant or buyer, that might also be a problem.

Do you want to buy the apartment so that you can make changes?

The advantage of the apartment might be the spacious and currently bright living room.
But that will no longer be the case!

Therefore, I would follow your idea of having the office in the bedroom (a box will do, by the way [emoji6]) and leave everything else to fate.

Since you want to build anyway, you can also relax later with the child – you are not the first to raise a child for the first 2-3 years in a 2-room apartment.
If necessary, a curtain partition for the double bed in the open space will do here [emoji4]

I can only agree with Kaho .. in the slanted wall constellation

in summer the west sun will hit the screen and bother anyway. And in winter you won't get anything from it, since the sun will have already set then.

Better to do it like Kaho right away ..

Besides, I also consider desks only 120 x 60 cm to be very small.

YPG is also not entirely wrong .. maybe a separation can also be arranged variably with, for example, Kallax shelves or something like that.

In any case, it shows once again that 7x5.5 m are rather difficult to furnish compared to, for example, 9x4.25 m ... since with 7 or 5.5 m every distance is too large for the TV distance and you rather create dead spots in the room or visually divide the room into small units again.
