Fitting 3 rooms in a 40 sqm living room. Ideas

The balcony is on the east side, so it's a bit darker.
On the other hand, what bothers me in all variants is the position of the sofa, as it somehow gets in the way. And if you lay a nice rug in front of the sofa, you end up stepping on it to get to the balcony above.

If we place the sofa against the slanted wall in your preferred variant, where do we put the TV then?

Lol... in the end, it has to please you :) not me. What totally puts me off about this room: the tiles create such a hall effect. I would feel really uncomfortable having to look over the entire room in the evening. Yes, a dark carpet would help a lot. But I find it cozier on the sofa, even despite being a sun worshiper. I would place the sofa against the slanted wall and diagonally opposite the TV. After all, there are also days when you enjoy the sun on the couch, just as you want less glare at the dining table.

Yes, we don’t like the tiles either, so they will be removed and replaced with parquet (country house planks).

TV distance ... how big is the TV? Nowadays people choose less distance because of better resolutions than before.
