We haven’t found any building envelope, though...
To the left on the plan is a palisade (spelling?!)(about 2m high) since the property behind it is a bit lower (which suits us just fine, there is a shopping center behind), from this lower property there is access to the dead-end street, with some steps for pedestrians and a kind of “loop” for cyclists. This loop is fenced off from our property with a wire fence (blue line). To the right on the plan is a neighbor, and at the bottom on the plan as well, but only at a distance of x meters, since the house is on the other street and connected there. The neighbor to the left on the plan only has a small hunter’s fence and “flowers” planted; here we get plenty of sun. We are also quite well shielded from there by the garage.
The exterior dimensions of the house are fixed, a shower toilet needs a certain width, a hallway as well, and a wider kitchen wouldn’t be ergonomic either; as it is, it is already "wide enough, but not too wide" to work in it together.
We have already tried to shift things around on the upper floor, but that always resulted in rooms with way too many corners, or rooms where not even the bed could fit... I guess we lack the spatial imagination...
That’s why I’m here.
