My follow-up to the statement was about concrete, reliable information/experiences on the matter.
I was already aware that every material or type of construction has advantages and disadvantages.
If I express a firm opinion, I can support it with credible information that led me to that firm opinion.
I’m genuinely interested, which is why I’m here asking instead of just endlessly googling everything.

You know how it is with building, there are no soundproofing projects in single-family houses. That’s why you have to deal with it yourself. There is a case in a neighboring forum where the roof construction took the woman’s life and many complaints from other builders. You’ll find so much about it if you invest an hour.

Building a roof like that is simply history. Today people use wool or wood fiber. Then there should be peace and quiet and the insulation values are only minimally worse, if at all.

yes we did ... in the end we used mineral wool ...

These are all subjective perceptions. This is about facts, the topic KfW40(+), and sound insulation plays no role here.

Yes, I understand that. Of course, there is a fitting horror story for every product, and I also understand that one might prefer one thing or another for certain reasons. We know that well enough here from controlled residential ventilation central=decentral, heat pump yes/no, vinyl yes/no, etc. I have also read a thing or two, but I also know that on the internet the terrible individual case is often prominently displayed and the many normal cases are not mentioned. Mineral wool or wood fiber, however, have a significantly "worse" value, so they could not be replaced 1:1. To what extent do you think such a roof causes impairment? I once lived in one and actually did not find it less pleasant, and from what I read when googling, the exterior insulation between rafters still offers the best properties. I like to learn/experience, but preferably concrete information.
