I would omit the entrance appendices of the bedroom and bathroom on the upper floor. In the bathroom, feel free to experiment a bit more with the arrangement of the furnishings.
I had that thought too, although I am a bit concerned that the rooms might then become too small. However, I would of course make the hallway somewhat nicer and wider again …
You lose neither usability nor visual size if you add the sqm to the hallway. But there you gain so much space that people can meet in the hallway without having to play evasive Tetris.

Plan them but only implement when the children are a bit older and the wonderful hollow niche opportunity for playing has lost its attraction. Our younger son once sleepwalked onto a 2m Pax wardrobe in elementary school age and played Lego there, maybe higher would have been better...
