Turn the stairs .. and then? What about the dressing room etc. on the upper floor?

The upstairs toilet looks a bit too compact – and the toilet bowl is right in the middle of the energy flow. At least you can see the enemy warriors coming in. But with the room size, there won’t be more than two anyway.

Narrower windows for the children’s rooms were already mentioned, otherwise no desk can be positioned orthogonally to the window. The bedroom is slightly oversized and I don’t quite understand why you’d need a view there. Do you also use it as a study during the day?

.. and, kitchen planning should also be done sometimes. There is little space for tall cabinets, so refrigerator, elevated oven, elevated dishwasher, etc.

In my last proposal the stairs are not turned, it might be hard to see. As mentioned, a quarter-turn staircase is used which starts after the front door. What do you think about the dimensions at the entrance? Would that be okay?

A view is not absolutely necessary, but it just happened that way. No other use, maybe for reading or similar. The only option would be to place the headboard facing south and have a narrower window next to it? Sleeping on a north-south axis is supposed to be more advisable?

I find the floor plan solid. It will be quite a monstrous box. The basement has many rooms, which makes you wonder if all of them are necessary. But if you can afford it, of course, it’s pleasant. WC in the basement then with a lifting unit? Is that even needed down there? The terrain layout is unfortunately not entirely clear. Is the terrace at the kitchen with access to the garden or is it a complete balcony?

I find the hints Kerstin (kbt09) gave about the windows important, so that you can place cabinets.

What makes me a bit uneasy is the relatively narrow living area because of the double door to the living room. Maybe just one door? The TV is already placed in front of the window out of desperation because the area is too narrow. I only find the fireplace as a room divider disturbing. But that is a matter of taste. If one knew where and how the garden, south, etc. is now, I would probably swap the kitchen with the office to create a nicer and cozier chill area. But for that, a site plan is needed.

I think it's pretty good. But as a thought-provoking idea, I want to give you the parent bed. The wall is 4.51 m, if you now subtract a proper door including the frame (so that you can also get through with a walker in old age) then you have 3.5 m left. Then a 2 m bed and there are 75 cm left on the right and left (in the shell construction!). I think that is really tight for the "wall sleeper" especially in old age. The large (lift/slide?) door in the living room looks great but really takes up a lot of space for furnishing. You can see how the TV was squeezed into the corner. I would reduce it to 2 m. So the exit to the terrace probably won't be used anyway. Overall, you have almost no space in the entire dining/living area to place furniture. Don’t you need a sideboard, bookshelf...? The kitchen will also be difficult to furnish. As already mentioned, there is hardly any space for tall cabinets and therefore no space for a built-in dishwasher, oven, large fridge. I would consider whether the passage to the hallway is necessary (it is a matter of taste whether the detour through the living/dining room is bothersome)? If you close it, the pantry also gets bigger and the potential cabinet space increases.
