I am not a feng shui person, but I wouldn't want to lie by the door like that either. Apart from the fact that the part that faces the window has to go around the bed forever (not the most optimal for nighttime trips to the bathroom).

I wouldn’t pay any attention to that – I sleep wonderfully with my head facing east.

You don’t have to. Those who furnish their apartments by instinct and gut feeling and are quite sensitive (in the sense that they feel comfortable) arrange according to inner rules that have parallels in feng shui.

I think the open-plan room on the ground floor is good; the others are right about the cramped TV, I think. I would leave out the pantry, as it only takes up space from the kitchen. Instead, nice tall cabinets, possibly also a 60 cm deep chamber for beverage crates.

Where does the door between the pantry and stairs lead to? Garage? Then I don't quite understand the initial intention here regarding the dirty area if you're bringing a second one into the house... Distance from bedroom --> bathroom is a bit far for my taste, I would prefer it closer... Otherwise, I think it's quite good.

Thank you for the many answers. I will try to answer the questions:

Regarding the location: front door = north / kitchen = west / living room = south

So there is a balcony in the south, which then ends at ground level in the west. The garden is planned in the (south-) west, hence the kitchen is also located here.
No lifting system is needed in the basement and I would like to keep a second shower option.
I want to be able to see outside from the sofa and if the TV lowboard extends slightly into the window, that doesn’t bother me. The TV doesn’t necessarily have to be pushed so far into the corner. When I think about how many people place a sofa in front of the window... But I will still look at how it would look with narrower windows in the living room. I just don’t want a dark corner to be created.

In the kitchen, the window in the north is only between the countertop and tall cabinets and to the right of it there will be space for a refrigerator and a raised oven.

I still have to look at the bedroom again. Maybe head towards the east, then the windows might also be retained. Of course, I wouldn’t mind if the bathroom were closer to the bedroom, but this was the best way to integrate it.

The door between the pantry and the staircase leads to "nothing," so no problem. It could be used as a direct access to the basement if needed.

Can you then briefly explain the reasoning behind it? Why this door, what is the benefit? It costs money and should be well secured and takes up space in the pantry...

The space is needed to get into the basement. It will be a standard patio door, only to be opened from the inside. This will also bring more light into the hallway. One could also use fixed glazing, but as mentioned, thanks to the door, you could go directly into the basement.
