Really? Is there then a setback at this point? In the 2nd picture, the difference also seems smaller...

To determine the vanishing point, I oriented myself by the bricks. I assume they aren’t completely crooked on the house ;-) .

You can definitely be helped and there is nothing magical about it, but we will now just have to wait those two weeks for the plans. Always secure the diagnosis first, then the therapy can be planned. What do you mean by that: did you measure that it is the required seven meters to the property boundary?

Exactly, it is a little over 7 meters to the boundary!

Hello everyone, I received the floor plans today and have been busy. I would manage with a dormer on one side, as the ceiling height on the opposite side is not affected. This way, we would not have to completely remove and redo the roof.

The extension of 8.36 x 4 meters over 2 floors would be our dream.

Ground floor:
In our desired floor plan, 2 walls would have to be removed (marked with red crosses). The wall marked in white is already gone. 2 walls still need to be built. Once in the new guest bathroom (the old one is WAY too small), and once in the office. The big question will of course be the statics, although I hope that a lot can be done here with steel beams.

Upper floor:
This is very difficult for me. We find the open space very nice, as it is above the dining room and gives the room a certain flair. What do you think of our first floor plan idea?
