Front yard wall, slope/decline, what to do?

I would place your stone wall in front of the light well and model a terrain slope towards the area to the right of the house.

If you build the wall as planned, you will have a massive structure that you definitely need to equip with a fall protection.

Well, what you painted, exactly: the orange threads on the field, are those carrots or fireflies, and what are the blue fuzz on the tennis net ... I will only understand to a very limited extent what is supposed to be meant there.

Oops, I must be unimaginative.
My interpretation:
Tennis net with blue fluff = overgrown fence/trellis
orange threads on the field = bark mulch


I prefer the suggestion with the bench.

Oh, no, the picture was sent by our excavator driver as an example, just to illustrate what a bed is and where the wall is.
The blue are gabions

If the bench is an option, you could also cover the light well with gabions and put a few boards on top as a bench; neighbors have that and it's great for sitting when the children are playing in the play street.
