For the project, I would involve someone knowledgeable. This is not just a small decorative wall.

I only say structural engineer.

Such a wall must be professionally planned.

1.6 m does not sound like much, but the additional load of up to 2.4 m of soil as well as the building load of the hall must not be underestimated. Just a tip. Set the wall at an 80 degree angle.

Upload a sketch of the cross-section of the desired wall. Photos may be uploaded. For example, of the Lego bricks.

Attached is a sketch. Current & planned.

A wall has basically already been applied for and approved.
We went to the structural engineer regarding our house and also asked him about this wall. He said, just a lean concrete base. For him, it was no big deal.

Hello kanuddel

Your drawing makes my hair stand on end.
If this support is "no big deal," then what is?
I would definitely seek a second opinion (if the wall falls and a few people are underneath, the structural engineer certainly won't remember his statement).
And build the wall much stronger by several degrees. Above all, the anchoring in the ground is not given. What is supposed to absorb the pressure? With that, you are playing with danger.

Okay. I will contact the structural engineer again by email and ask how exactly he would recommend it, including what he says about the earth pressure and the surcharge. Thanks in advance. I'll keep you updated :)

Did you tell the structural engineer that then a steep slope and up to 2.4 m of earth load will additionally be on top?

"The proof of overall stability must be provided for slopes, embankments, and terrain steps to exclude failure by a slope or terrain collapse. The failure state is characterized by exceeding the shear resistance of the soil and the resistance of any existing structural elements. The proof of overall stability must also be provided for terrain steps secured by retaining structures."
