I had contact today regarding this matter with our Interhyp advisor and the house bank we are in talks with.
According to our bank, they need all the documents required for a regular construction financing (i.e., building plans, salary statements, etc.).
Our bank tried to dissuade us from the arrangement with wild claims like "Renovation is only funded for 40 EE." I was able to refute all but one of these through contact with NRW.Bank.
However, one question remains open for me: Do the conditions/interest rates apply at the time of application or at the time of approval by NRW.Bank? Allegedly, the interest rates in the program are supposed to skyrocket in the next few days with the resumption of the KfW new construction subsidy.
Yes, because the bank doesn’t earn anything from it otherwise. We will take out building insurance with the bank so that the application can be submitted.
The conditions apply at the time of application. Anything else wouldn’t make any sense, right?
The conditions will definitely increase; this has also been confirmed to me by several parties!
