For garages yes, you can definitely move carports up to 1-2 m closer to the driveway. But that is specified by the building regulations.

Hello andimann,
to be honest, I think the garage is important. At the moment we don’t have one and our cars are constantly scratched (very annoying with 2 new cars). That’s why we definitely want a garage where we can also possibly park the motorcycle in winter.
The wardrobe is really very small! I would push the stroller into the pantry.
You are probably right that the living room will get darker because of the covered terrace. But I don’t think we need more space in the living room. I will upload the exterior view this afternoon. I actually think it looks very nice like that.
The basement... a huge problem. I need the big room for work. And the technical room and laundry room are very cramped. That’s true. But somehow I don’t see any other option yet. In the small corner of the technical room are the washing machine and dryer, and the laundry chute ends there...

exactly those 5 meters must be observed. Unfortunately, the position of the garage is the only thing that is predetermined. The neighbor will then build his garage onto ours. However, at the moment we don’t have any direct neighbors.

Yes, I would miss the SW sun and somehow capture it accordingly. Could it be that all the rooms are very narrow? Could it be that it is due to this straight staircase/square house? I miss windows on the front that give the house some soul. Why don’t you photograph the drawings full-frame with your phone from above? You can see more that way.., flash can be turned off [emoji4]

I will not repeat the problematic entrance area.

I would also leave out the corner for the terrace, as it significantly increases the cost. Instead, create more space in the entrance by moving the kitchen further towards the terrace. A storage room can then be created there (also possible: accessible from the kitchen, or divided: part from the hallway, part from the kitchen, and the space currently planned as a storage room can be added to the entrance area.

Then the dining area "shifts" more towards where the terrace is now and flows into the living area without an additional corner, etc. The kitchen can then possibly be planned larger.

Site plan wouldn't be bad.

and I agree with ypg: why square?

I think the basic shape square is specified for the project by the developer. The outdoor seating area, we also have one, is a nice to have, but when it comes to costs, dispensable. Otherwise, the house is livable.
