The BUS itself is not laid out in a star topology but in an open ring. For switched sockets and lighting, then star-shaped to the distribution board. DALI and others, on the other hand, open ring.

Hmm did my first post really sound like that?
So the geothermal pump with geothermal baskets is already included with the provider, for example. Photovoltaics with 7.5kw is nothing special anymore... well, the Helix would be a gimmick, I can get the Tesla storage super cheap. All in all, I rather have the impression of a cost-saving house..... except for the doors. Believe me, the dream phase is definitely behind us. We have very clear ideas down to the details. I assess ourselves as consistent enough that we won’t get carried away by any unplanned things.... at least I hope so!

If it comes to programming and operating the ETS software, the Eibmeier ETS4 Quick Course is still often recommended. Although it is actually for ETS version 4 (currently version 5), the programming and structuring remain the same.

Yep, it just brims with technical, uneconomical tinkering. You probably only do that if you have time to spare. But of course, that's interpretation, which you have now made clear.

Maybe my house data helps (year of construction: 2015/2016; region: Upper Bavaria - same region as OP); costs without land, garage, and ancillary construction costs:

Freely planned single-family house; brick
215 m² living space + basement (just under 100 m²)
Biomass heating
Controlled residential ventilation
Large window areas (including 6.4 m long corner glazing; floor-to-ceiling --> complex statics)
High-quality interior doors (> 800 €/each)
Oak parquet (complete - except basement and bathroom)
Two bathrooms (tiles; including 60x120 cm, 100x100 cm)
21 linear meters of built-in closets; floor-to-ceiling (planning: interior architect; manufacturing: carpenter)
Wood stove (Brunner)
Kitchen (carpenter)
Blinds with control everywhere
Front door with fingerprint sensor
High-quality door communication
High-quality lights and lamps (> 13,000 €)

=> just over 510,000 €

Recommendation:

Cancel wind turbine
Storage (these are kWh, not kW!) --> then with integration of control power + heat pump; ROI after 15 to 18 years (without subsidies and energy price increase)
Outdoor facilities (1,000 m²?): It’s ugly if the garden doesn’t match the house because the budget is used up --> minimum 20,000 € (with own work!)
KNX – for those who need it…
KfW 40: air heat pump; generally somewhat cheaper and “sufficient” at this standard

I think it will work with your budget.

Thank you for the response! When I look at your list and compare it with ours, we should easily manage. Especially since we are leaving out the basement and are otherwise not going all out. The property will also be a maximum of 800m², and the garden will definitely be mostly done by ourselves, although I do have my doubts whether 20k will be enough. I am aware that the air-water heat pump would probably be cheaper, but the geothermal baskets are already included and personally give me a better feeling, especially since the heat pump operates completely without a heating element. Integration of balancing power + heat pump is also planned. For the Helix wind power, I have an offer of €6500 including installation; it would just be nice to also harvest something at night and in winter. But as I said, it is only a nice-to-have.
