The more expensive part I meant was more related to the driveway and the yard, not the house. And yes, regarding the costs for the house, you are of course right.

Oh, I see. Well, maybe you don’t have to pave everything? A gravel path up to the house might do as well? Minimizing paths would be Yvonne’s approach, although I have to admit that a carport less than 6m wide doesn’t appeal to me either. Reversing forever wouldn’t be my thing either. So I would rather spend a bit more on a turning option and save on other things, but everyone has to decide that for themselves.

You are planning two hallways. One is above and consumes your expensive square meters. It is basically a preceding stairwell that is not necessary.

I find it better this way already, even though the bathroom wouldn’t work like that. Still room for planning everywhere, even if a TV plays a role, light should come into the hallway, etc….
