Seriously? Did you roll dice for the layout?

The entrance hall is too small, missing storage space and a bench for putting on shoes; the kitchen is in a dark corner, even though there is a light-flooded kitchen bay window that stands empty – above it is a tiny little balcony that is useless for anything, while the dressing room is unnecessarily wide and the bathrooms are just narrow corridors...

What are the windows in the storage room for? And so on and so forth...

Hello everyone!
Thank you very much for the numerous critiques and please excuse the late response. We were on vacation.
There is definitely room for improvement.

The entrance area really seems quite cramped. We need to work on that again.

The bay window in the kitchen is actually unnecessary. It originated from our desire for a small balcony in the parents' area. We find a bay window with an attached balcony visually much more appealing than a balcony with supports. We will discuss that again.

Overall, there are now many "bays." You are right about that. We will address it.

But our main problem starts on the upper floor. Maybe we should work our way from top to bottom.
Our wishes for upstairs are: 2 children's rooms, 1 children's bathroom, 1 parents' area (bedroom, dressing room, parents' bathroom). The problem here is the specifications of the development plan: 70 cm knee wall (OK raw ceiling to bottom edge of purlin) and additionally a maximum ridge height of 8 m. With a 38-degree roof pitch, we come to a maximum house width of 9.80 m in external dimensions.
Do you think our room wishes can be reasonably implemented with these requirements? Does anyone perhaps have a floor plan that might fit here or a good idea?
Originally, we also wanted a straight staircase. The planner said that with our requirements regarding the roof slopes, it would make more sense to plan a half-turned staircase. Do you see it the same way?

Once we have solved these problems, we will turn to the ground floor.

Just so you know: in the floor plans, south is at the top.

Thanks in advance!

Nothing against a balcony in the parents' area - but what is it supposed to be used for? The sensible size depends on that; and why is it attached to the dressing room? Is it supposed to be for airing clothes? The entire floor plan is really awful - and I don't belong to the faction of 'square, practical, good'. I am very much in favor of individuality; but it should also make sense somewhere. The ideal layout would be access through the dressing room to the bathroom and parents' area, so that you don't disturb each other when you have different schedules.

The floor plan is 10x better than what you usually see here! I find the bay window in the kitchen unnecessary, but otherwise I do like it. A balcony by the dressing room can definitely make sense.

How much "wardrobe" will you fit in the dressing room with a knee wall of 0.9 m? The 2 m line starts at about the middle of the room. (Wardrobes are about 2.10 m high). Is that enough storage space for you?

there is a third bay window present. The 2-meter line is also visible there.
