we ultimately decided against the provider (not necessarily against Wolf). The reason was that I wanted a craftsman from the area, not a salesperson.
Now we have a craftsman from Berlin who is currently planning with a Vitocal-200-S (exact model D09). This was primarily about the BAFA subsidy that we still wanted to apply for. Which pump it will be in the end is still open and will be decided finally based on the calculations. We were advised to build without a buffer and thermostats, etc. Since we are building with kfw funding, I still have to clarify this with the energy consultant. It seems more reasonable to me, but legally it probably looks different.

Unless you mean something else, please note that the BAFA funding ended at the end of 2020. More precisely, the application should have been submitted by 12/31/2020.

I have to say, he is moving further and further into my favorite position, which is really going to be hard for the others.
I still have two companies that absolutely want to submit an offer and an appointment with a "neighbor".
The foreman is very friendly, flexible, understanding, sometimes overlooks things, but then immediately gives in.
So far, apart from the total costs, which are not yet 100% certain regarding ventilation ("we have to see how it looks on site"), I am very satisfied and optimistic. The payment terms are also good (no advance payment, always 10,000 EUR installments based on progress, 2% discount within 7 days). If the execution works even remotely that well, I’d be happy.
He also does the under-insulation, for example, but said that it is just busywork and you could easily do it yourself.

Regarding wall heating, my wife has now decided that she prefers towel radiators (of course only with a heating cartridge). Wall heating steals more space where you can’t put anything, even if it looks cleaner at first. But she probably wants designer radiators that cost 1,000 EUR...

How do things proceed with you here? When it’s cold, you should have enough time to discuss the topics with the plumber and finalize things.

Regarding the wall heating area, I’ve been involved/planning it (we are still on hold as well). For us, it will be either next to the toilet on the exterior wall or behind the door. 1.5x2m square is enough – in terms of area that’s just 3-4 cm max projecting into the room or so. Yes, you can’t screw anything on it anymore, but gluing works quite well too.

On the other hand, you have peace of mind then if the heating load is right from the start and you don’t have to heat 1:1 with electricity or can specifically add heating when the weather changes.

Hi, yes, I am still waiting for two offers that definitely wanted to submit something. On the other hand, I’m currently considering whether I should just accept the previous favorite. I will wait this week, or rather, I will contact the other two again. Regarding [Wandheizung]: unfortunately, I need 10 m² according to the installation plan. That is already quite a large area. There are electric [HTHK] with a timer or they turn on at the push of a button for one hour. I think I only need the additional heating capacity when it is really cold and/or after showering. So the electricity consumption will be limited. On the other hand, not being able to properly use or only being able to cover 10 m² of wall surface. I don’t know. It feels strange to me. But I will discuss it again.

So I have had one of those wire things from the hardware store hanging in my shower in the rental apartment for 6 years. Works fine. The same with the toilet paper holder, only that one doesn’t get wet all the time. Also holds up.

Apart from the mirror (cabinet), I have no need to drill any holes in the walls other than the ones provided.
