2. Office window not improved. In theory, 1 sqm is enough... also for working. More becomes tiring.
3. South facade: or rather windows from the ground floor layout: poor furnishing options due to window positions in general. I would also not necessarily arrange townhouse windows symmetrically. They can also handle some liveliness.
Children's room windows and office as well as living room can well handle a push of a whole meter, if not more, into the interior of the room.
Regarding 2.: I like big windows and lots of light. A small window would be too little for me and visually it also doesn't fit the ground floor.
There is then something between 1.75 m and 2.30 m to choose from. I even find the wider version on the ground floor more beautiful, but on the upper floor the narrower version is more suitable.
Regarding 3.: There is no furniture against the wall on the south side, maybe the TV – and even that rather somewhere else. So I don’t necessarily need a large wall area without windows.
The windows are recessed 1.40 m on the outside, inside measurement 0.8 m. If you push them further, you are already in the middle of the rooms on the upper floor. That makes it much harder again to place furniture there?
The liveliness of the windows would be given by the wider dimension in the middle… :-)
