On the one hand, the wardrobe/dressing/bedroom topic can change very quickly – already in case of illness, but also in old age. Many things can change. And it is not about how much space the parents get, but about a sensible sequence and planning of the rooms. If you can’t manage the planning, that doesn’t mean that this logical sequence has to be questioned. Rather, it means: a professional probably has to take care of it.

On the other hand: we certainly don’t want to interfere with education, but children don’t have to be raised in a way that they get a personal toilet. If they have their own bathroom, that’s perfectly fine, if feasible.
You can also spatially separate the unit "toilet hand washbasin" in the children’s bathroom from the tub, shower, washbasin unit, simply by putting a wall and a door in the bathroom. But now spreading the wet rooms all over the place probably makes less sense. Consider that each drain also requires a downpipe inside the house that has to be installed.

You have the tendency to like to exaggerate everything.

I don't find it contradictory. You have your parent and it should be comfortable for you. It should make everything easier for you as long as you live in the house. It is important not to disturb the others. Regardless of whether someone had a sleepless night or because working hours change or the rhythm, etc.

Children The first years they don't care whether male or female Afterwards the question is how long they live there. Maybe the oldest is gone at 18 for training Different schools, different school bus times, etc. Children can and should communicate and find compromises You have 4 bathrooms for 5 people. One can go

Don’t get me wrong, I did accept the thing with the dressing room. After consideration, I see it the same way. That’s why I’m a bit “confused” why compromises are supposed to be made with the children’s bathrooms (regardless of educational measures).

That might be a good compromise!

Hehe, well, I currently live in an old building with a ceiling height of 3.30 m. So maybe I’m a bit spoiled there.
I myself am also almost 2 meters tall...

I think you are right, ypg’s solution seems to be a good option

Honestly, I probably would have allowed the ground floor an additional 10 cm. At 2 meters, the doors will probably also be taller than the standard doors.

Yay, I'm not actually delusional about size

Revised again in the attachment.
On the ground floor, the bathroom was slightly enlarged and the TV swapped (so it can’t be seen from the hallway from the side)...

Upstairs, only 1 children's bathroom with separate toilet.

Does the shower room then also get a toilet installed or only a sink + shower? And in the WC there is also a sink, right?
